My media center PC connects wirelessly wireless n to the network, so from time to time there are brief lags in the network resulting in stuttering of the video stream. This would be very easily resolved if media center would buffer the incoming stream. Unfortunately it appears that media center does not do any buffering of streaming video on the local network.
It is very surprising to me that this feature is lacking. Does anyone know if there is any way to force media center to buffer in this way? I don't care if it buffers to the hard drive or to RAM as long as I can find a way to make it buffer.
