I was having the same problem reported by a couple of commenters where pskill was not killing a normal, non-system process that was hung.

Turned out that process had descended processes. Using "pskill -t pid" did the trick, killing the process and its descendants. Of course it's not going to work. I just don't think you should be telling people to do very stupid things. First, it is not a good idea to put files into Windows system folders. Instead, group tools into other folders and add them to your path.
